Transformational Communications Leader

PeopleSoft was legendary for its company culture and innovative products. But 1999 was a down year for this global software company. Employee morale was low, fresh off PeopleSoft's first ever large-scale layoff. My team was responsible for helping to re-establish the PeopleSoft culture and values through communications and events that put the focus back on the company's namesake: People. We kept the momentum high, even through PeopleSoft's highly publicized acquisition by hated rival, Oracle.

What we did:HR communications, manager and leadership communications, employee event planning and recognition programs, CEO & executive communications, community relations and employee volunteerism.
