McKesson is a Fortune 5 healthcare company with nearly $200B in revenues. My team was responsible for communicating the McKesson brand to customers, prospects, investors, employees, and the media. We led the transformation of HR, health and wellness, digital marketing, the corporate intranet, McKesson's brand, and aligned leaders for a 3-year enterprise transformation of growth and operating model. During my ten years at McKesson, I led employee communications, corporate communications, digital marketing, and enterprise change communications.

Transforming the business, creating demand, engaging employees

McKesson 2021 Enterprise Transformation. Our high-impact senior leadership event immersed our Top 200 leaders in the details of McKesson's growth and operating model strategies. The event served as the kick-off to an enterprise launch that would extend the content to over 3000 people managers worldwide. This event resulted in our leaders feeling highly engaged and prepared to lead their teams through change.

Digital Transformation. Leading an enterprise team of marketers, technologists, and business leaders, our team transformed the McKesson corporate web site and developed a digital go-to-market strategy for the US businesses. We introduced new capabilities for customer experience, SEO, data analytics and content marketing -- increasing web site traffic, content engagement, sales leads and revenue opportunity.
Better Health TourWorking with sales leaders across North America, we produced six interactive thought leadership events with integrated digital and social content. Our events touched over 300 participants and drove nearly 85 million impressions of earned media in national business publications like Forbes, US News, and Harvard Business Review. In addition to attendee NPS of 70, the events and media drove new business opportunity.

Better Health Starts with Me. Working with business leaders across North America, we produced interactive live events with digital and social content to introduce McKesson's new corporate brand. The events and content drove adoption and interest in the company's commitment to customers and a focus on health and wellness.

HR Transformation. In partnership with HR leaders across North America, our team developed the change and communication strategy to re-align a multi-national HR function. Our team designed and delivered communications to three distinct personas and helped drive adoption of new centers of excellence, HR technology, and HR shared services that touched senior leaders, people managers, and thousands of line employees.

 

McKesson National Sales Meeting. Our team delivered an annual NSC experience to 2500 US salespeople and leaders. We co-designed the event themes, developed content, messaging and prepared executive presenters. We also partnered with large production firms to execute the 3-day events. We used creativity and innovative approaches to get our salespeople's attention on annual core messages.
